hello everyone

Its been ages since i last posted but here are a few of the recent cross stitches that have been completed.  The first one is of the star sign Aquarius which was a birthday present for my mum.

the second one is an anniversary card for my dad and stepmum who will be celebrating their 40th anniversary in a few years time. I saw the card and had to get it stitched or otherwise it wouldn't get done.

a lot of stitching done today

I have so enjoyed my day off today. I have done some stitching on my mum's mother's day present as she loves handmade gifts.

I have done a lot more since I took this photo this morning the biscuit on the right hand side is finished and I've just started on the mouse on the right hand side so it won't be long before it's finished.

a nice day

  had a nice day today got asked to come into work this afternoon, which was a nice little shift.  I was hoping to do some stitching of my late aunts cross stitch which will be nice when it's completed.

I'm hoping to get some stitching done tomorrow morning/afternoon

had a good day

Had a good day in work was only in for 4 hrs came home and had fish and chips for tea they were lovely.  I only have a takeaway every now and then.

I will be doing some stitching at the weekend well on Saturday as I have the day off can't wait.

last day of holiday

well today is the last day of my week off, it has been a quiet week in which I have been cross stitching or reading or been on the laptop.

I'm back to work in the morning at 7am only 2 weeks at work then I have a week off again can't wait

finally finished the nativity window cross stitch

Well I finally finished the nativity window scene that I started 3 years ago all the cross stitching was done quite quickly but it was the backstitching that took its time, it has now been washed and is drying naturally in the airing cupboard, will iron it either tomorrow or Saturday then take it to the framers to be framed hope to put a picture on here soon

another relaxing day

although i didn't do any stitching today, I did take some old cardmaking stuff down to a local  community group for them to use and hopefully make some cards to sell to help keep there running costs down.

hope to finish off  the nativity window scene tomorrow night only a little bit of back stitching to be done on the right hand side and a bit on the arches above the windows
